I thought this thread may be temporarily useful to keep track of flower and oils that Mamedica® do not have on the formulary. This will be useful to see Mamedicas stocks and inform potential new patients about restrictions on product availability. Simply post below your info on what you noticed is missing.

On the 16th of October 2024 I counted available to Patients 96 Flowers and 62 Oils. Mamedica only list the following as available:
  • 52 Flowers
  • 26 Oils
  • 2 Vape Carts
  • 3 Lozenges
  • 2 Capsules

On the 16th of October 2024 i counted the following as unavailable for Patients at Mamedica:

MedBud ID

I’m not sure how it is at all clinics but with Mamedica® if you need a medication they don’t have in stock but you have had it before you can pay £10 for another clinics with that micstion in stock to fill it for you instead. My questions are this: I have had repeats from Mamedica for the same strain but it was several % higher in THC and the terpenes were different. That was still counted as a repeat and not a new script. So does that mean we can get that same strain from other producers? If it’s from a producer I’ve never used before but the strain is the same? I’m interested in what others experience with this.
Most clinics i think allow you to pay to have your script used in another pharmacy.

The same strain will differ over time as each fresh batch is grown, altering THC levels etc depending upon the quality of the grow. Oh for consistency!

Other producers may well grow the same strains, i have Kush cake from 2 different produces and the difference is big in quality.

I'm not sure the "repeat" aspect of "repeat prescription" is anything to do with strains with Mamedica®, is it? In other words you could get a bunch of totally different strains you've never had before month to month, and as long as there's no change to the overall size of your prescription or a significant shift (say, from oils to flower, or from very low THC flower to high THC) then it counts as a repeat.

I'm only on my 2nd month so haven't used the "repeat prescriptions" part of the website, but it looks like you just ask for whatever strains you want from their available offerings each month. Am I wrong?

Otherwise wouldn't the "repeat prescriptions" part of the website just allow you to re-order your current script, rather than giving you all the strain options to choose from? That would be the "new prescription" part of the website if that was the case. Or the "book a consultation to change your prescription.

Just ask for whatever strains you want each month.
I don't know how they could really do a repeat each month as strains come and go

Just paid £300 for a script on Thursday what I ordered on Monday.
Yesterday I was told after ringing up that I won't be receiving my meds until next Friday because that's when they are due.
Why did nobody tell me about this when I ordered.
I still have 10g owing on this month's script as well and 10g of mouldy jokers that is still at my house after 2 weeks.
The manager told me if I needed replacement medication for the jokers
he would arrange for somebody to give me a ring which he has not done after having all afternoon to do this.
I tried to order the extra 10g what I am owed as well to be told it would probably take as long to get here as my £300 order
When I got my allowance upped to 90g I was asked very rudely by a guy relaying the message to the doctor if I smoked joints and if I bought black market cannabis even though the doctors always asked me if I wanted more medication and I always said no.
What do these clinics expect you to do in this situation.
I hate this part of medical cannabis

Feel for your mate as It's their ability to react to a problem as it always seems to take a working week before they can get something to you when a genuine problem arises and often leaves people in the lurch like yourself here instigated by them not following up with a call about your Jokerz .:(

I dont really understand why you should wait days for a doctor to sign off medication.
Do Cardiff sign your prescription the same day you order it and then send it to a pharmacy
Sorry for you mate, Its terrible and I wouldn't fully trust any of them, same as BM.
Re Cardiff I'd like to know the answer to this question too (I think I asked before) - as I suspect no-one is printing scripts at the weekend, at least currently - which reduces availability/efficiency down by at least 25% (2 days /7). Also remember to include the dreaded bank holidays. So what 30%+ now? Also without escripts you've lost another day. The "Drugs Business" (both or actually all sides) has always been about logistics first.

Indeed - this has been proven and I - and for sure many other patients - expect this to continue. All clinics should be going for same day delivery at this stage, and the first to achieve this, yes here, "on the mainland" will take the market.

My experience has been it's always same day, unless you miss their cut off for posting i guess

Every time I've put it a request in I've either done it earlier than 3pm, or at the weekend. In the former case it's always been same day, and the latter it's been Monday, script signed and posted to the pharmacy. The big benefit is that we are always going direct to the consultant, so there's no faffing about in-between.

I've only had it once where the pharmacy had run out of one item by the time the script arrived the next day and in that case it was Cannabis Clinic Cardiff contacted me to ask me what to rewrite so they could get it out same day to get in fixed for me asap. With Mamedica® you always have to contact them and they seem to do their best to ignore you, or mess you about.

I moved from Mamedica and the increase of service level at CCC has been phenomenal

I have had another message of the pharmacy manager explaining if I need more medication speak to the team and let them know that I have a claim being investigated.
This is what I did on Friday and was told I was not allowed because it is against the law

5 days now with no medication
They are not good for health at this point mate and really don't seem to have your needs in mind or want to see it from your point of view.
Disgraceful if you ask me !!
Hope your ok matey!!

Yes I'm OK mate cheers
I just can't believe it I did get a new prescription for 10g but I can't pay for it as I had already told them because I gave them £300 on Thursday.
There are too many people and too many departments there now and as soon as there is any problem they can't cope

That's what came across from your post ,no coherency as one will say one thing then another department something else and was my experience there when a problem arose yet other places would of rectified this or found a solution .
Even if you were to cancel your original script and resubmit it to free up funds they would charge you for that as well :(

I don't know how they can work like that.
Getting put through to different departments and people saying why have they put you through to me. Having conversations and then having to explain yourself again and again to different people when it could be written on my file for monitoring purposes

Just been on phone to them it sounds like it is all my fault and they have done nothing wrong and I won't get anything while Saturday now.
I have spent 10 grand there

Nice and supportive of them and you really need people you can entrust with care MC wise to de dealing with things I'd suggest and me you have sat chatting about this stuff since we both joined the forum and you know your options and how me and my wife are at our respective clinics .
