Clinics Medicann UK

@GrownHealth its not frustration, more likely disappointment of what NHS turn into in last few years.
I’m not originally from uk but I have been here about a decade. I can see that fall of competency of medical staff. I’ve been with few medical centres during my residency in Scotland.
When I was asked what that summary was for I heard that tongue click of disapointment on other side of a call while mentioning MC.
I always tell people never to mention MC when requesting their records as it doesn't really make the process any easier, I suggest going down the route of "Requesting my SCR/records as I'm going private with a certain condition and the clinic requires a copy of my conditions/medications" then that way they know they're not losing you as a patient to a private clinic (which is going to be the assumption in the beginning)

Id litrally just go in to reception while its not busy and just ask them to print it of it a matter of urgency, im too inpatient to wait a few days never mind up to a month.

I had a family member try this and got told to beat it basically lol

I was the same when joining MC and it was a bit of a helter skelter for me getting everything in order but the process is much simpler now .

First I gave permission for my SCR to be sent but then my clinic needed further clarification and I'm sure I just had to tell my doctors they needed more in depth info and gave permission for my clinic to request it from my GP's and it was sorted between the GP and clinic iirc .
Basically I asked that my GP let my clinic access what info they wanted on my medical records .understand,

Thank you for your experience much appreciated, I understand now and that the GP made it sound complicated communication wise but I have since rang and spoke to Medicann they said if its easier for me, confirm they are sending them so rang GP they asked what private clinic etc and said they will email them my records to them so I will wait for Medicann to process for an update. 👍🙏

Thank you 🙂 i know it one of them things, I am new to this process so my anxiety is at a high with my GP, if I may ask what did you

Brilliant and when these processes are explained to me I sometimes sink in thinking about it and the complications but when you actually go about it then it can turn out a lot simpler than it sounds 🙏

Hopefully you'll hear back soon and things will be back on track🤞

Appears MediCann have retrieved my NHS medical records just got an update today saying I've got another appt tomorrow so I'll put an update of how that goes, still considering making the switch nothing set in stone atm I want to see what they offer as a new patient swapping over from another clinic before I request a discharge letter and leave my current clinic

Still don't get how they can't accept the same records I uploaded to CB1 Medical and approved me for... any answers? 👀 @GrownHealth @Muiredach @Dooby Doo

Sounds promising your not the first to say this is how it goes 🔥 🔥

Anyone know how it goes like with my current script renewal date... basically I'm just about to receive the last of my allowance for the month but If I make the switch in the next few days for example does that mean my new script day will be for then and I can order more stuff right away or will they make it so it coincides with my current script?

Did they put you on an allowance or unlimited access? and THC limit?

The menu was loads better than my previous clinic
IPS is a really good pharmacy has regular discounts etc and a great range, only thing your missing is a few of the top shelf stuff (yoda cap etc) but even then you still have access to an amazing variety and a lot of the newer strains just released, I watch their formulary every day even though I'm not with them and its became quite impressive lately

They still have Pave and a few other top shelf's so that compensates for no yoda 🔥
