You are right. Still importer vs distributor vs pharmacy are all people taking their slice of the pie.
The supply chain for medical cannabis cracks me up.
Its like the UK electric market. One company takes fuel out of ground sells it to another company who generate the power who sells it to another company who distributes it wholesale to another company who is your power company who says we only make 10% profit.
Aye well done however what about every other stage in the chain.

Last email I had from them stated they would be asking a specific distributor as to why they ( Medicann) wasn't notified of a price reduction.

Communication between the distributors and clinics I find is lacking at times but then I think if MedBud and the team are aware, then surely clinics should be given how easy it is to digitally communicate these days.

Only GMP doctor can issue scripts. These doctors are tied to pharmacies from what I have seen.
Local doctors cant precribe this "special medication" What you said is the model some clinics work with. This is private healthcare tho using backdoor loopholes. Not a public provision

I probably used the wrong letters but basically there are only a few licenced in the UK to prescribe. Dr Sunny is tied to IPS/ Integro etc.
If you want to start up your own pharmacy:
Get a pal who is a qualified pharmacist
Get a Qualified pain doctor/anaesthesist who is GMC registered.

Botanical Health Dispensary are not a clinic but are an independent dispensary/pharmacy where in theory patients from all clinics can send their prescription and the problem obviously with Medicann is they won't let you send your prescription elsewhere .
In my case I'm with a clinic that is independent of an aligned pharmacy so am free to use which I wish and some other clinics allow this although they have their own aligned/partner pharmacy but we don't often see reports of clinics in this situation making the process user friendly as often they have to recoup clinic fees through keeping dispensing in house sadly.

As official and legitimate as this all sounds its not acknowledged within the NHS so its like cold water immersion therapy.
No one says it works,you can pay someone privately if it is your belief it works but it is viewed very much as fringe.
I think some people overplay the legitimacy aspect of "medical" cannabis. There is a long fight still to go to have it recognised.

Well said, select few we are. spoke to a guy passing, was vaping the good stuff, anyway chatting MC, he is taking traditional meds for sleep and he mentioned is destroying his body, next time saw him. said, he spoke to his dr in holland and could give a script direct to him, to be dispensed in uk

This is a sad day! This could be me unboarding and hopping off to brighter meadows as the end of my journey with Medicann UK has perhaps finally arrived. Its funny, because I can vividly remember feeling like I'd won the lottery onboarding with this free enterprising medical canna clinic approx a year ago. But, even their stand-off'ish approach has it floors, and their pricing appears to be slightly more expensive most of the time and they take forever to get new drops, alongside their affiliated partnerships with IPS and their too often poor menu potential.
