Clinics Medicann UK

Almost feels like there's a catch doesn't there?

I have the same doctor on Wednesday. It would be great if you can let us know your thoughts on how he was and things. I hear its a 5 minute phone call...

I've had some shit experiences in the past and the only reason I'm Hesitant to leave AL is because I have a really good doctor now.
Missed call yesterday, two emails sent, still waiting to hear - hopefully today 🤞

Here's the full low down of my experience with Medicann to date. I am now a confirmed patient of Medicann.

I initially submitted my info in the evening of Sunday 10th August and had a call from them by 9AM the following day to book my initial appointment. I didn't expect it to go this fast and I didn't have my shit together so I needed to get back to them when my schedule was a little more clear. On Monday 18/8 I reached out to their team via email and had a missed call within 2 hours.

I was then able to book my initial appointment via the app (but you may need to call them) for the same day, roughly 90 minutes after booking. The Lady in the appt needed a bit more info about my last AL prescription, she asked me to upload it and then somebody would call me back. She in fact called me within a minute of me uploading my script to the portal.

I was then booked on to my Doctors call for 20/8 at 8:50AM, the doctor rang at 8:40AM. Really nice doctor, very personable and easy going. He had read my notes and given my previous clinic experience had no issue approving my status.

I informed him I get my last AL script tomorrow so I won't need to order immediately. He told me that's fine, take my time and to simply put it through when I'm ready, no bother.

I told him my typical usage is around 90g, sometimes more, sometimes less. Again, he had no issue with this and only saw things becoming problematic when you're ordering like 8z a month or something silly.

The process I imagine is very similar to Cannabis Clinic Cardiff in that it's not script orientated and you simply request your medication when you need it from the portal. The formulary looks to be full IPS as as mentioned throughout this chat thread.

We concluded the call with him saying he will open the portal up for me at lunch time, I had access before 9:30AM.

So all in all I'm very impressed with the speed of service, I've always preferred the idea of an ADHOC ordering system and across the board they clearly have their shit together.

As someone who has been with CB1 Medical, Wellfords, Alternaleaf and now Medicann I feel I have a decent scope of the industry. Medicann are certainly looking like the most stress-free, patient orientated experience I've had to date.

CB1 have great support service in my experience but lacked with speed of service, Wellfords lacked across the board, Alternaleaf lacked in patient support and communication speeds. I feel like Medicann have me covered completely.

If you are looking for a first clinic, maybe you're leaving CB1 or another clinic. I can thoroughly recommend the experience I've had with Medicann to date.

Most pleasing to me to read this as is it seems to have given you the feelgood factor back to your MC journey and it is coming across as they know what they're doing and are experienced (y)

I'm really looking forward to not playing the mental gymnastic games with AL/ Montu when it comes to getting my meds in.

There is 1 catch with them, and depending where you're coming from it may not be a catch and that is simply that you have to pay £5 delivery per order, every order. So it's not totally free but I never expected free delivery myself anyway.
