Vapes My Mighty +

Yo,
So I bought a second hand Mighty + from Gumtree for £140 about 2 months ago. It was sold as hardly used, fully tested and cleaned. It's now not working properly coming up with code ERR 004 it wont heat properly. I have tried to register the item to get it fixed by Storz & Bickel but it's already registered, so I contacted the seller to ask if she can email Storz & Bickel to swap the registration over to me!! Guess what, it's not registered to her!!! I have looked on Gumtree and this person seems to have a lot of Storz & Bickel items for sale!!! She will now not answer my messages, Gumtree couldn't care less and Storz & Bickel will not do anything because it's not in my name!! So I'm £140 down the drain with no way to take my meds. Gutted!!

That is a downer and while I cant recommend a path to follow to rectify it ,I understand the problem you face as no mighty would probably send me smoking again.
Do Storz & Bickel not offer to fix it as a paying customer or are the costs stupid with this approach ?

Morning mate, I think the paying to get it fixed will be my next step, just hope it isn't too expensive. I'll have to use the bong for now.

So the 004 is overheating. My old OG Mighty started doing it recently it just threw a 004 and that was it. I had to just leave it alone i think about an hour later it sprang back to life. The 004 is likely why the seller sold it she likely hoovers up online vape and resells them.

P.S this is why we have a vape collection its very handy to have at least two.

Its weird because that's the only thing she sells is Storz gear. I've got a Nebula Titan but they ain't all that to be honest.

So I've had a reply from Storz & Bickel, basically saying if I can't get the device swapped over in my name then use it as a paper weight!!! I'm so f****ng angry!!

It's an expensive bit of kit. It's a shame gumtree don't have any recourse for this kind of stuff.

Is there a way to tell its genuine? Most of storz bickel grinders are fake so only buy from a uk dealer. Ebay, gumtree still riddled with fakes.

The thing is, this person is selling loads of S&B devices, I'd like to know where they get them from. Gumtree won't do anything either.

cool. I'd be very suprised if there aren't fakes of these devices also - "seems to have a lot of Storz & Bickel items for sale" red flag.

Screw you Storz & Bickel. I gave it a clean and noticed that the temp probe had somehow come out of the housing . All put back together with no error codes and the plumes of vape I'm getting is unreal! and I'm bolloxed!

Only running mine at 179 so far today and on my second load
