I tear off a full length strip slightly wider than the width of the plates, fold it in half and then position my prepressed 'puck' of flower so that it is as central as I can get it on the plate. Pump the jack so that the plates are touching the paper enclosed flower but not squishing it, give it a preheat (90 seconds for me) then I crank the shit out of it and press for a further 90 seconds to 2 minutes. I have a longer press and pre-heat time than a lot of folks recommend as I press at the lower end of temperatures (165). This way preserves more terpenes but the yield isn't as good... My little sis on the other hand has it at about 195 because she likes that shatter consistency whereas lower temps give more of a waxy/crumble/budder consistency.

If you haven't got a pollen press to presquish the flower add a little pressure in the pre heat phase.

Not a bad first effort You cam get away with a 2nd press usually too at a slightly higher temp. One observatiom, I put mine a bit further away from the crease, as the crease can form a natural channel and if it's a real oozer you can lose some out the sides

Ah yes, pro tips, I have a quite thick offcut of sheet copper that I put the paper on first, to cool it instantly and so that it is on something firm, you can buy CNC'd aluminium blocks to put in the fridge on most rosin sites, but any metal that dissipates heat half decently will do, I just leave my copper sheet on the floor and that keeps it cool enough.

I just might have my press sooner as I've got my head together to start selling some of my watches I've collected. (Lost my younger brother 2yrs ago) and stopped buying and selling my collectables. The ball is rolling again thanks to you lot

Sorry to hear dude but good to see you kicking into gear and its amazing how resourceful we got and calling in cash generator today I realised we've got some stuff that is of no use to us that would help balance the books and when you do get it that be a full house , onwards !

I've got loads of stuff, loads of chess sets, some Anne Carlton, jewellery, Amber with insects in them, hundreds of boxes cars, vans, trucks ect never played with and lots of other collectibles. I go on Ebay, shpock ect. Got to be careful not to earn over 1k as this could effect your uc. A few yrs ago I was blasting out stuff but ya can't do that now, but I could sell upto 1k before April and then take it easy after April as I'll be able to sell upto another 1k before Apr 2026. You'll be surprised what you have lying around like you say, things you don't need or use around the house. Get on them selling pages, Facebook shpock vinted eBay you'll be surprised how much you can put in ya sky rocket for them rainy days or buy something you know can sell

Just realised we've got a nintendo switch that has been used twice from new and bought it 2 years ago I think so that could be a goner straight away and I'm the sort who usually never sells anything so there is probably quite a bit of stuff

Going thru mine too, I'd recommend CEX tho, esp buying/exchanging as 5 year warranty.

Rush job an all that but satisfying and vaped it in a capsule in the mighty mainly sat in a nest of flower and tastes lovely and it was only average that was put in , a bit of Kush and BM and it was relaxing but only used a bit and was miles easier to deal with than in the past as there is no mess at all.

I predict by the end of the year a lot of people after trying rosin with switch to this method for cost saving if rosin suits them.
