Dispensed and with royal mail so well pleased as I needed a rewrite and a 5g item changing to 10g to save delays this was done rapidly with me kept well informed and well within the timescales I was given when placing my prescriptionUsing this Pharmacy for the first time and they contacted me today and gave me an introduction to the way they do things and continued to process my prescription and addressed a query I had instantly .So for the first time in 18 months of using Medical Cannabis this is the first time using an outside pharmacy and they even reserved a packet of short dated discounted stock I rang and requested they hold for me last week so ,so far so good![]()
Email them with a list of what you want and see if it's a goer.Unfortunately we do not have a formulary that we share with patients however if there is a certain strain you are interested in I am able to update you on whether this is available or not.
Nice one squireUsing this Pharmacy for the first time and they contacted me today and gave me an introduction to the way they do things and continued to process my prescription and addressed a query I had instantly .So for the first time in 18 months of using Medical Cannabis this is the first time using an outside pharmacy and they even reserved a packet of short dated discounted stock I rang and requested they hold for me last week so ,so far so good![]()
I haven't had a reply to first request.... can you ask a generic question like what non-irradiated Indica/Indica dom do they have or does it have to be a guessing game?Email them with a list of what you want and see if it's a goer.I know they haven't got the Sudz.
That's really kind of you but not going to drag you into it, based on what is available to me on CB1 Medical Formulary there are two strains that may work, both untested by me so would be another 20g order which is a joke to me given their postage and forwarding costs. Just have to pray tthat BCP or similar comes back or that they get some more suitable strains.I would say give me a list of what you want and I'll ask through patient support but mate with your script size I'd just ring em with what you have in mind and take it from there but if you give me a few strains I'll be more than happy to ask![]()
Fingers crossed both are still in stock from last week and it's a quick this is how we do it, let's do it!@MigraineMan with Specials Pharma they'll have the introduction and you'll receive an estimate next and I'm expecting my new one any time this is usually followed by a payment request when ready to dispense but they also do dispense sometimes before payment although I've not experienced this yet.![]()
After much deliberation Specials Pharma has decided to move to a payment first model. This is because a small number, and I re-iterate a small number of patients have decided to abuse the goodwill that we had shown to patients to pay in a time that is convenient and not miss their medical needs. We will start from the 1st of April 2025. To get patients prepared during March we will send reminders. Patients need to do the following:
Firstly, when you receive an estimate, we ask you to accept it or to decline it. If you require the estimate to be changed (i.e. You only want part of the prescription) then please decline and add notes on what you want. I would also suggest, to speed things up, that you email the patient care team patientcareteam@specialsphama.com or ring the team on 020 3004 7468.
Once you receive an invoice please pay as soon as you can. A member of the team will try and contact you by email and sometimes by phone to pay your invoice so that dispatch may occur.
We ask patients that are behind on payments to contact us during March so that we can help them prepare for the changes that will occur.
I wish to apologise to the vast majority of you who have paid your bills in a timely manner and have been grateful for the trust given. Unfortunately, my staff are not only having to chase debts but at times are subjected to some abhorrent behaviour by a very small minority of debtor.
Couldn't believe they operated this way when I found out last year and probably like you say a few bad apples and a lot of patients would of come to rely on this to make it all work moneywise .Suppose it would be nice to see a compromise in it but can understand the aspect of staff chasing debts and the abuse that follows .Same same, a few bad apples apparently.
I've always been on pay first with Curaleaf/curaleaf/ CB1 Medical so no upheaval for me but can see it having a negative impact on a lot of folks when cashflow/timing is an issue. Sad thing is it is probably the wealthy that abused the system, keep their pennies in that high interest account a little bit longer.....
