The Last Kingdom and the following series I watched when it aired and I've got to admit I did love it but it's not often I get engrossed in a series but I've only seen the first episodes of the latest Star Trek so may give that a go again but more Next Generation, Voyager and Deep Space Nine fan from past series and I never really liked the original ones .
I love the Sopranos, but from HBO I think The Wire is probably their greater masterpiece!
I've been a Trekkie since I was a kid, and my Gran first pushed me to rent some videos when staying with her down in Plymouth. I'm not the greatest fan of the original series, TNG/DS9/VOY are gold to me, and I have a soft spot for Enterprise too - though it is a different kind of Trek.
...of the newer stuff, Discovery was a train-wreck that's already been written out of canon, Lower Decks to me was just too much forced American humour, unlike most I actually liked S1 of Picard, but by S3 thought it was a cheese-fest trying to just (badly) pander to fans. Strange New Worlds is the best of the bunch to me, but still would give it maybe a 6.5/10 overall. Star Trek has long lost its spirit.
I'm actually rewatching DS9 at the moment, just got to S03E03, just as it really starts getting into its prime.

Watched LOST again right through still a top notch tv show.
1 of my favs that made HBO was OZ that made SOPRANOS that made THE WIRE all unreal shows that i go back to often esp sopranos.
Just watched 6 series of shameless lol what a show that was as well.
Tv show called brotherhood think only 3 seasons but good show.
The sheild is quality and southland 2 great shows.

These are all TV gold wonderful.
A friend of mine in Rotterdam, her son is a professional actor now. Turns out he and his peers have watched the wire 30+ times some of them! Its an acting masterclass. However its missing a season or two to fully explain the rest of the infrastructure...

Foundation - cant wait for the next season, paying for apple just for this as and when a new series comes out, total addiction, was addicted to the books as a teen, top scifi.

It is a masterclass. Think there is crossovers with homocide life on the street, the corner and the wire and law and order done crossover with homocide all inspired by wire creator they tie into each other.These are all TV gold wonderful.

Nypbd blue was another great show to watch thats was similar to these, homocide, nypd, the corner then the wire in that order to watch i think.

Hey guys, if ya can got your hands on a copy of the new movie "novacaine" I highly recommend it if your looking for a laugh! Also check out Stephen Graham's new mini-series "adolecence" if you fancy something abit more serious.. just binged all 4 episodes this afternoon and was totally glued to the screen..

its an awesome watch like, well worth the 4 hours! I love most of the TV shows/movies that Stephen Graham's acted in. Check this comedy/sci-fi out he stars in that managed to slip through the mainstreams TV advertising.. I thought it was hilarious!! Similar Discussions (Automatically Generated)
