Hi, all. New here, so excuse my ignorance. Been a BM user for about a million years, but qualify for MC. Am in the process of selecting a clinic and want to use vape pens. Pretty sure I want to try rosin or resin, and am having trouble working out which clinics prescribe these.
I'd be looking for a daytime strain which will improve focus without fog, and an evening strain which will promote deep relaxation and aid sleep. All recommendations welcome - big thanks 😊

Hi @Nadiezdha + welcome :)

I'm not there with vapes yet but in terms of strains I can def recommend a few. Could you please tell us which strains you have tried previously that worked well for you? AFAIK nearly all the clinics stock the new vapes but it sold out quickly last time except mine because they seem to be always in stock there each time I look for flower - which is way too much :D

Welcome to the forum @Nadiezdha and as mentioned above the cheaper rosin/resin vapes have been in stock with CB1 Medical but other rosin/resin vapes like Clearleaf® have not been available their so for choice of them combined I suppose is the answer and IPS Pharma who tend to stock both of these which should be available through Alternaleaf or Integro also there is the Sundaze rosin cart on Alternaleaf's formulary.

Most ranges cover the daytime/night time aspect like with the Aurora® carts Electric Honeydew is great for during the day whilst Sourdough performs best for most in the evening from feedback around here .

Hey, node 😊
As a BM user in a small northern town, I've not always had a lot of choice! I also have a terrible memory, perhaps because I've got 35 years of use behind me 🤣
I've been an occasional user these past few years - mostly because:
a) it's hard to consistently get a strain I like when there's such a preference on the market for huge, anxiety-inducing Sativas
b) I don't smoke tobacco anymore and can't find an agreeable delivery system. I've tried RSO, and that's lovely, but it's impossible to do anything useful on it - defo not a daytime vibe. I have an S&B Crafty dry herb vape, but they're inconvenient, indiscreet, and have poor battery life. You also need to pack the bowl for best results and I'm a pretty light smoker, to be honest.
Anyway - I've previously enjoyed Lemon Haze, but mostly because the only alternative was Stardawg 🙄😂 I liked Cookies, too, I think. I'm not great at remembering the names, to be honest.
For the evening, it'll be an Indica or Indica-heavy Hybrid. Happy for it to be low-key trippy. I like charas, if that helps. Not that I've seen any for years and years... I might go back to RSO for the evenings, tbf.
For the daytime, a Sativa Hybrid which improves focus without anxiety. Calm and focused.
I like fresh, herbal and fruity flavours, not so keen on the diesely terpenes. Would defo prefer not to have mad munchies as I'm already pretty much sponsored by Haribo... 😣
Long response, sorry 😬

Thanks, GH. For clarity, Alternaleaf stock Clearleaf®? From looking at your comparison chart, Clearleaf® might be a good place to start. Thanks for input 🙏🏻

Had to double check and they have in the past which you'd hope means they will again but I'm sure you have access to IPS Pharmacy as well when with Alternaleaf and some Clearleaf® products are in stock their now and the Clearleaf® products seem to present on Mamedica® and IPS all the time .
Looking at this Alternaleaf/ Montu You should be ok for requesting Clearleaf® rosin/resin vapes either from Alternaleaf's pharmacy Montu or IPS who Alternaleaf let patients have access to this pharmacy.
Mamedica don't stock the Aurora® Vape carts unfortunately:rolleyes:

My wife's got them here and now she's got used to them after not using carts before she's quite content/pleased with them effects wise and most who have used them say the same to be honest where as I would just like a bit more strain choice like with the Clearleaf® carts but without the Clearleaf® prices 🤷‍♂️ but it is early days with Rosin/resin carts and choices are expanding monthly.

I remember the first time I tried a cart, on the BM, of course. Was used to smoking joints and had no idea carts would take so much longer to hit. Just kept going for a good 10 mins, until I felt it, but by then, it was too late, of course. Was stapled to the sofa for a good couple of hours 🤣 Managing moderation is gonna be a key, for me. A tasty strain will be hard to put down...
I'm not a massive strain connoisseur, so I'm not fussed for a huge choice if I can find something that suits.

Going off that it does sound like the Aurora® carts could well suit you and they are currently the best value out there for non distillate carts.

My wife's first try on the sourdough vape was followed by a massive cloud of vapor:giggle: but now she respects its potency and they also seem to go along way too which is an added bonus.
