So lets have a go at this. If anyone has any of their own favourite recipes, feel free to add them to the thread.
Ingredients
2-3 Tbsp Coconut Oil (I prefer it a bit oilier)
1/6th of a block of Butter (This is down to your likes and tastes so use what you want)
1 tsp of Black Pepper
1 tsp of Chilli Powder or Cayenne Pepper (or if you really want to amp it up, use fresh chillies)
1 heaped tsp of Ginger
1/3 can of condensed milk
4-5 Tbsp Golden Syrup or Honey
1-2 Tbsp of sugar
100-200g oats (not a set amount, adjust it to how you like it, but I aim to have a slightly sloppy mix)
Method
Place the coconut oil and butter in a pan with the ginger and pepper(s) and slowly melt (lowest gas setting or electric level). When melted you can add in flower or AVB if you want, but I would say 0.3g of fresh flower or double that of AVB. I don't wash mine because I like the whole flavour. Simmer for 5-10 minutes.
Add the golden syrup and sugar and stir until well mixed and take off the heat. Now add the condensed milk and stir some more until mixed. Put the pan back on the heat and get it to the boil point. Once boiling, remove from the heat, add the oats and stir well until you have the desired consistency (add more oats if you prefer it less gooey). Tip on to an oven tray or cake tin, preferably covered in greaseproof paper or greased with butter. Place in a 200C preheated oven and cook for 10 minutes. I use a fan oven, if you have a straight up gas oven adjust cooking times accordingly.
Remove from oven and leave to cool. When slightly cooler, you can score/cut it into pieces. When cold, place in a tin or some other air tight container. it can be frozen if you have a lot.
Taste Notes
Depends on what you used. If you used fresh flower it will be like tastiest flapjack you ever made and the smell will be crazy good. If you used AVB it will be less on the smell and taste, but maybe easier for stealth requirements. Also AVB will be a mix of effects and flavours, but flower will be specific to what you use, so if you are wanting day strain and night strain with specific terp profiles, then you have to use different strains when making it. But AVB is the easiest.
