Clinics CB1 Medical

Well, I'm a little disappointed with CB1 Medical today. Maybe someone could shed some light on the official process surrounding changes in prescription, particularly, when you only have funds for a partial script? I'm guessing there must be an official reason, but apparently my script needs to be approved by the Dr to remove what I can't afford.

Was prescribed three flowers yesterday. Payment link popped through today. I can only afford two this week, current script was only issued 2 weeks back (would have been due 24th December if it wasn't for the holidays). Am skint.

Went to pay via the app, de-selecting one of the three flowers arranged during yesterday's Call. Figured I'd be able to top up with the third as needed, if needed at all, since my scripts are overlapping, I would be OK. Went to pay, App was trying to take money for all three, despite only two being selected (still early days for the app, I know). So I called the pharmacy.

Staff there said that the prescription needed to be re-approved by a doctor, because I was only paying for two of the three flowers, and one needed to be removed. Didn't have the mental capacity to question over the phone, but disappointed it wasn't as straight forward to pay for a partial script as others seem to have experienced.

Just really hope it's all re-approved first thing Monday. Grateful for the overlap, and that I'm not left without, but instead am left with the why 😅
😭 Am still waiting for this script... It's all been rectified on the prescription side of things, removed one item, paid for on Monday. I'm going to have to call AGAIN because I can't handle another day of anxiety 😭

Honestly the best thing you can do is just give em a ring. Everyone I've spoken to has been a huge help

I just wish the pharmacist would stop marking my packets like there marking an exam paper.

I do like to keep the labeling and packaging because im one of those people 😎🤣

They forgot my Curaleaf gummies with my delivery yesterday as it was a seporate script so had it shipped out ASAP and just landed now.

Right now they probs absoloutly slammed with the last few days of postage going out. I'm sure you won't miss the deadline but ring em and I'm sure it will help put you at ease

I drive myself mad to be so confident one minute and struggle intensely with basics the next. Brought to tears over a damn phonecall that took 30 seconds 😭

Only call in the queue, verified postcode, confirmed that it will be dispatched today, received tomorrow ✅

As much as I type an go on with myself on here I still sometimes feel these anxieties ,absolutely ,I've spoke with two clinics already today and like you say it's the build up to the call can be agonising but once I'm in conversation I relax it's just like posting on here .(y)

Really glad I made the call... Would have been another day of me being indecisive, pestering the other half about it, him telling me to just call, me telling him no, over and over until the pharmacy is closed... Like yesterday 😅😂

Things can be 10/10, but if a troublesome thought /feeling gets the opportunity to manifest within me, it will have a good go. Things are around a 4/10 today, so I know I need to be taking it slow, have used many spoons already.

I'm confident enough with speaking to them now that ill ring them straight away and the call is usually quick and simple. It's just the knowing that before hand that helps ease it when you start to worry and stress.

If you've had other issues with other clinics/pharmacies this can heighten your anxiety too when your new to a clinic.
 
Rang CB1 Medical this morning to see if I could get the Grow Access Project discounts if I joined but they didn't seem to be aware that patients could access this through other clinics which they can and this is vital for me in the future to try and keep affordability in check ,also no plans to go with the lower weights ie. 3.5g 5g and 7g and are sticking with the 10g ,so I've enquired elsewhere.

Perhaps ask CB1 to look at https://growgroupplc.com/access-to-products/ and specifically: "If you are with another clinic and would like to access Grow Access Project, this can be done by asking your doctor for your prescription to be sent to IPS Pharma and marked/stamped as “ Grow Access Project”."
Although looking at CB1's ethos and prices they are doing flowers very cheap compared to many, especially considering the yearly fee is only 50 (or free for a year if you move to them from another). Although i know nothing about Grow Access Project and am not eliglbe, but maybe in the future!

My guess is once the weights start getting popular at other pharmacies most will follow suit eventually. Shame they don't seem to want to go ahead but I'm guessing profit margins ect as mentioned by @Moon Sending prescriptions to other pharmacies is less desirable for their business model to keep prices low

Yes it's not a swipe at CB1 I think they provide a great service , more a personal get this right to suit me from the offset as I'm changing for sure ,just don't want to have do it again in the future . (y)
I also do think if explained the grow access thingy they may be receptive to it .
 
Reckon with the Grow Access Project thing if shown to them they might act on it so you never know ,it seemed like they were unaware like a lot of patients were till the video came out recently explaining how to go about it .

Making them aware is good for them, as you said they didn't seem aware, they are a newish clinic and still building the business. The Goals in the app, I suggested a couple of things which has been passed on, they were saying they are still working and building on things. They seem to appreciate the feedback 🙂
