Yes , I will … do the clinics allow you to do that as I know the are in contact with the GP , I read about them letting the GP know about the MC prescription etc. is it us that are in charge of that gradual reduction? Thank you for sharing , I appreciate it. Honestly some of them make me feel so sick and I am all about quality of life with this “move”Your welcome. Please remember if cutting down on them horrible opiates ect, do it gradually, your NHS docs sometimes don't understand the long term effects of your meds when cutting down. Do it in over your own length of time, little by little with the meds. The Cannabis should really help you with this, I have managed to cut my NHS meds by well over 2/3rds in about 12mths, that was nearly 2yrs ago, I still have to take some NHS pain relief.
Basically your GP just says yeah they're mental give them some and yeah that's it doneYes , I will … do the clinics allow you to do that as I know the are in contact with the GP , I read about them letting the GP know about the MC prescription etc. is it us that are in charge of that gradual reduction? Yes we are in charge, i was only saying if your willing to give up some meds, your allowance will be a bit more suited. Some docs/clinics don't like you to overload the kidneys ect if on NHS very high strength medications, which i was. It was me myself who put to my NHS docs that I will be cutting down my pain medications because I wanted to be treated with Cannabis for my conditions and it was my preferred medication for my conditions.Yes , I will … do the clinics allow you to do that as I know the are in contact with the GP , I read about them letting the GP know about the MC prescription etc. is it us that are in charge of that gradual reduction? It really does feel like “a new world “ to me right now. All for the greater good for us all fingers crossedI still pinch myself months in... doesn't feel real sometimes it is a new world that takes some getting used to... to be fair
Hello Mary dee, welcome to the page! I was in your place a few weeks ago and i know it can all seem rather confusing when you start out. I think the main thing to remember is that this is to make YOU feel better and more in control of your condition/situation - it is no one elses business, it is totally legal and if people have a problem with it, then it is their issue, not yours. I would just say that nothing is a stupid question on here, there is always someone that has asked the same question or thought about it, so ask anything you like - we are all friends here. Be honest with your consultant and you'll be absolutely fine. xxIt really does feel like “a new world “ to me right now. All for the greater good for us all fingers crossed![]()

I can assure you it'll go way smoother than your anticipatingHi, Thank you so much , I hear you loud and clear
, I appreciate the time you have taken to write this … the anxiety is hitting at the moment , I will feel better after the consultation tomorrow when I know what is what, I am sure half of the things whirling in my head will ease then . I am the type to need to know where I stand- I feel like I am in no man’s land at the moment ( in limbo) . “This could happen , that could happen , what if this , what if that “…… that is the brain right now
Anyway , I know I have landed in the right place with you lovely lot , so again thank you for the warm welcome![]()
