Hi all,

I posted recently in the intro thread and can't thank everyone enough for all the helpful advice.

I've recently tried pave 1 and whilst it has been great at treating my nerve pain, it's also great at sending me on a rocket to the moon 🚀. Could anyone help recommend something (oil, flower, cartridge) that can help treat the pain but also not really make me feel 'high'. I still want to be able to function properly and just remove the pain.

Thanks in advance.

Have you checked out balanced strains before?

I have some nerve discomfort from sciatica and also some general back ache, the best i have found so far (I'm still relatively new to MC) is by combining a small dose of oil with flower.
The oil i use is Somaí 10/10 and i take it about 90 minutes before i take the flower and the best flower i have found so far is medicus -fruity pebble kush.

Hi , thank you for your reply. I'm completely new to MC , this is my first week. Could I ask how much oil you use ? Ive been prescribed Curaleaf full spectrum. It has a THC of 20 and 10 CBD.
As regarding the flower , does that have a high THC ?
I am using Pave 1 flower , I'm not sure if I'm using the right strain. Hooooo it's potent

Hi , thanks for the reply. I'm kinda learning as I go along. Last week I knew nothing about strains at all. Now I'm a bit more educated I have got more of an idea. Is there a particular strain you would recommend?

The 10/10 oil I use is 10mg THC & 10mg CBD per 1ml. The oil you have is twice as strong in THC but the same in CBD 20/10

I built up very slowly and started with just 0.1ml 3x per day with food for the 1st week & went up every week by 0.1ml, by week four I reached 0.3ml for breakfast and lunch & 0.4ml for dinner and that gave me a very mild sedation effect.

The fruity pebble kush flower is 27% THC
The THC % does play a part but it’s not the full story in what may or may not work for you,

Thank you for your reply, it's very much appreciated. I think my oil is a bit on the strong side. I'll try reducing my dosage again to find a balance .
All the best

The lemon cherry gelato is a lot milder than the pave snd it's, £6.50 and its good as well
Hey, thanks for the recommendation. May I ask if you have you tried many strains.
The Pave seems to have quite a high THC which I find too much for the daytime.
Would the lemon cherry be more suitable for in the day ?

Definitely the lemon cherry gelato is a lot less THC and I use it in the day. The pave is the strongest on medical I have had but I have very bad nerve damage.so it is great for me.

Yes I have tried a lot of different strains but in the last 6 months there are loads that I have not tried because they are really expensive now and I would rather just get the pave knowing that it works the best for me

I am trying to think of some strains you might like
Mediscus apple fritter
Mediscus fire cookies
Lot 420 lemon cherry gelato
Lot 420 apricot cheese
Peace Naturals® atomic sour grapefruit
Craft botanics Georgia pie

Thank you for the recommendations - very much appreciated. I'll give the lemon cherry a go , hopefully it will help me through the day like it does for you.

Pave is exceptional but very strong.

I’d save this for when you really need assistance or for when you are more used to medicating.

A balanced flower would be a great place to start.
